For some strange reasons, I didn't want to turn away the chance to visit some of the best wineries in the world when Jake from Bibendum Wine called to tell me the good news. I was invited to visit seven Châteaux in three days: Durfort Vivens, Pichon-Longueville Baron, Cos d'Estournel, Smith Haut Lafitte, Petit Village, Siaurac and Suduiraut. The plane took off with six lucky sommeliers onboard: Nicolas Clerk, Alvaro Marcos Garcia, Rupert Taylor, Joao Pires, Franck Albert and me. I was sitting next to Rupert from the restaurant Trinity in Clapham and his funny stories about wine and difficult customers almost made the flight go too fast!jueves, 29 de julio de 2010
