Alvaro joined Home House in May 2009. He originates from the Altea , Alicante , region of Spain and brings with him a wealth of experience, having worked at the Marcus Waring at the Savoy Grill, Theo Randall at The Intercontinental and Tom Aitkens.
He was also the winner of the International Sommelier Challenge 2007 and has judged at the International Wine Challenge amongst others.
